Making a Splash This November: Swimming Progress and Holiday Intensives in Harrogate

Christmas is just around the corner! It feels a bit surprising that we’ve only just returned from the half-term break at Harrogate School of Swimming, and we’re already planning for the end of term. These last few weeks are a great opportunity for swimmers to make real progress before the year ends, and we’re looking forward to seeing which swimming badges everyone can earn.

The weeks leading up to Christmas are always exciting. We have some busy times ahead, with Christmas swimming celebrations, distance swims, and fun sessions planned for children and adults alike.

We’ve also put plans in place for our holiday intensive swimming courses over the Christmas break. We’ll be running a three-day intensive from the 29th to the 31st of December at Harrogate Ladies' College. We have a few group swimming lessons and 1-to-1 swimming lessons in Harrogate available, so please get in touch if you’d like to join us over the break.

We’re excited to say that we’ll be attending the Harrogate Mumbler Awards on Saturday the 29th. This is a great opportunity to support other local Harrogate businesses, and we’re thrilled to see who takes home the awards. In other community news, our Head of Baby Swimming, Sarah, has recently been visiting local nurseries to educate little ones on the importance of water safety. By introducing these key messages at an early age, we can help set children up for a lifetime of swimming confidence in Harrogate.

Speaking of Harrogate School of Baby Swimming, our programme continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve recently invested in new changing tables for our facilities at Willow Tree, which we hope will make getting your little one changed and ready for baby swimming classes in Harrogate even easier.

Whether your child is learning to swim for the first time or preparing for their next swimming badge, our team is dedicated to helping every swimmer build confidence, technique, and a love for the water.
