The Spring Term Begins
January Blog – Welcome Back!
Hey swimmers and parents, and Happy New Year!
The Christmas festivities are behind us, routines are slowly returning, and we’re well underway with the spring term. It’s been fantastic to see everyone back in the pool after the break, with lots of enthusiasm and plenty of energy from our swimmers. This term is an especially short one, only 12 weeks until Easter, but we still have plenty of time to run our full scheme of work, ensuring swimmers cover each piece of criteria on the Swim England stage they are aiming to achieve.
We are now taking bookings for our half-term intensives, running the week commencing 16th February. We’re still confirming the number of days and the location, but please get in touch to book a provisional place. These sessions are a great opportunity to keep your swimmer’s progress going through the half-term break.
Before the Christmas break, we sent out our annual customer survey. We were thrilled with the response and are excited to share that 93.8% of feedback rated our service as either Excellent or Very Helpful. We’ve taken your feedback on board and have some plans to make changes that will further improve your customer experience. Look out for updates soon!
January is always about settling back into lessons, rebuilding fitness, and refocusing after the holidays. Our swimmers have made a strong start, working on technique, stamina, and sharpening their skills as we get back into the term.
There’s a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, with continued progress in lessons and some exciting opportunities ahead. As always, consistency and effort are key, but enjoying time in the water is just as important.
We’re also excited to announce a Performance Squad Gala planned for January 24th. This is a fantastic opportunity for our squad swimmers to race their peers in a fun and positive environment. Keep an eye on our socials to see all the action!
A big thank you to all parents for your ongoing support. We’re looking forward to a positive and productive spring term and a great year of swimming ahead.
