Terms & Conditions.
Booking and Payment
Lessons are booked on a termly basis and until the last lesson of the term. If lessons are started once the term has begun, fees will be charged on a ‘pro rata’ basis. We are unable to facilitate ‘part term’ bookings where your request is to end the term early. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. You will always be provided with a confirmation of you're booking via email.
Cancellation /Refunds
We have a strict no refund policy except in extenuating circumstances considered on a case by case basis such as broken limbs/operations. Missed lessons are not possible to credit.
In the unusual event of a pool closure we will make every attempt to contact our customers as soon as possible. A credit note will be given in lieu of future payment for the following term. In the instance where a pupil is not returning to our classes for a further term, a refund for cancelled lesson will be given.
Private lessons can be cancelled if 24 hours notice is given. If less than 24 hours full payment is still required. If a replacement lesson can be organised you will be notified & will not be charged.
Payments
BACS fees are a one-off payment - to be paid in full. Direct debit payments are taken 3 times during a term – one before the start of the term & 2 the following months.
Parents / Guardian Responsibility
A parent/carer must remain on site for the duration of the lesson and must supervise children always inside and outside the pool building and parking areas.
Change of details
You must inform us of any change in address, contact details, swimmer’s health or condition and if there is a change of Guardian / Carer details.
Data
All data is protected by the Data Protection Act of 1998
Communications
We will only email you for reason of interest within Harrogate School of Swimming and will never provide your emails or contact details to any third party.
Photography
The capturing of images either photo or film using any device such as smartphone, iPad or tablet computer, DSLR, video camera etc is strictly prohibited. We may at our discretion organise designated photo sessions during Intensive Courses or at the end of term where written permission and consent will be obtained by all parents/guardians who have children attending the sessions.
Lost Property
Harrogate School of Swimming cannot be held responsible for damage or loss to personal property on any of our sites.
